Altered wood frame

Unfinished wood frame becomes cute gift for anyone!

Snowman candle

I guess I'm just in the mood for some COLD weather here in Florida with all these snowmen!

Stamped on tissue paper, colored with markers, wrapped tightly with wax paper while "melting" to candle with heat gun...

And here's another cute little snowman ornament made from the leftover tins from my Advent calendar. I just love those little snowman in the Snow Friends stamp set from CTMH...

Using those inchies/twinchies

Some of these inchies and twinchies came from swaps I was in. So why not put them to use? I found these adorable 3x3 notecard sets at Michaels and thought they needed a little sprucing up. I don't know who made some of these inchies as there were no names on them, except for mine and the little present inchie from Tammy Tozer...

You'll have to click on the photo to see them better.

Paper - DCWV
Snowflake punch - Paper Shapers
"K"- DCWV Christmas Letters

Snowman Glitter Ornament

This is made with red re-inker and prisma glitter. I added a cute little snowman rub-on for fun! I am hoping to make lots more as I have many rub-ons to use up...

Advent Calendar

Saw this on SCS and HAD to try it - how fun! Made one for my SIL and one for US. My kids will never be too old for TREATS - lol! It was a bit time consuming, but I love it!

Used lots of DCWV paper stack, various 3-D embellies and stickers, Cricut and CTMH paper for title, wedding favor tins. (16x20 canvas)

Winobella card

Made this card in a pinch the other day. I hardly use my Bellas! That's going to change very soon...

CTMH: Magic Moments paper, Happy Day stamp set (celebrate)

Unknown: Ribbon, black polka dot paper, bling

Inchies and Twinchies

If you've never tried your hand at making an "inchie" (1x1 inch) or "twinchie" (2x2 inch), it is so fun and easy! What do you do with them? You can add them as an embellishment for a quick card (think 3x3 card) or scrapbook page. Here are some of my recent ones.

Inchies:
The cupcake and ladybug backgrounds are painted with Twinkling H2Os. Used liquid glass on watermelon seeds and spider eyes. The sand on sand dollar is actual sandpaper...

Twinchies:
Prisma glitter on snow and on red "stars"...

Black and GREEN!

My very favorite color is LIME green. Love to pair it with black (and red). Here is a little book made from 4x4 inch coasters, using my BIA (Bind-It-All):

CTMH: Silhouette papers, Soulmates Word Puzzle (the hearts are embossed)
Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder
Misc ribbon, flower and bling

And a card - black and white with "POP" of color...

CTMH: With Love (June SOTM), Solo T, Citrus Leaf and Black ink and cardstock

Misc: Ribbon, dots

Turkey Day 2008

I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and 3 children! We had a great Thanksgiving day at my parents house. One of my brothers and his family were in Atlanta, but the rest of us all shared much love and laughter. I find that every time we all get together, more and more memories of the past are shared. My dad is 84 and my mom is 82, so it's such a joy for them when we share those special memories of days gone by.

Here is my "little" Meggie. She has natural curls but usually flat-irons them every day. I love it when she lets them go natural...

My Little Nook

Ok, so what do you do with 2 adults ands 3 kids sharing a 3 bedroom condo? You take over the "eat-in" area of the kitchen for your crafting nook! (Ok, so I took over part of the master closet, too...) I usually spill over into the dining room, even though my "craft armoire" opens up into a nice big workspace.

My acrylic stamps are stored in the drawer towers. And I now have the Cricut Expression instead of the little "bug."

My "woodie" storage in the closet!

Of course, this is not ALL of my stuff. I still have more in my closet and in a hall closet, but hey, at least it's organized!!!
